About Us.

RELA opened for business in January 2011 with a focus on residential design and peer reviews for New York City Coops and Condominiums. Our services have expanded to include commercial and medical offices, multi-family residential amenities, project management, feasibility and zoning analysis, and due diligence for property purchases and new construction.
 

Architecture should excite the imagination and endure the test of time. We strive to design projects that are as enjoyable to use as they are to behold; designs that delight the senses through thoughtful attention to site, form, flow, function, materials, color, texture, daylight, and lighting, contextual ques, views, and other factors. RELA’s design process starts with in-depth client interviews, programming and brainstorming to consider style alternatives, set goals and expectations and develop conceptual and schematic designs for feedback. Frequent client communications and in-person and virtual meetings ensure the increasingly detailed design drawings align with the architectural program, meet targeted budgets and schedules, and meet or exceed client expectations.  Recent projects include apartment renovations in traditional, modern, and contemporary styles and contemporary office interiors.

We offer a unique combination of expertise and creativity to every project, drawing from our multilingual background in English, Spanish, and French.
